2006 A Preview
We start 2006 with a Preview of things to come this year, At Thorpe Park they are about to give us the biggest, tallest and fastest coaster in southern england(A 205FT Intermin Launched Coaster) and further down south,Paultons Park will unveil a Gerstlauer Bobsled Coaster which is a near clone to G'sengte Sau in Germany at Tripsdrill,Its also the park's most expensive ride in its entire history,So view a small preview for now and then come back in March to see the finished product for both coasters

Paultons Park(12/3/06)
Its finally back to Paultons Park to ride Cobra,The brand new Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster,Its offical opening is on 18th March, but you can now see some pictures from its soft opening weekend, The Ride is very good while not being too intense for the kids, View pictures of the ride upclose, and a general park update of other stuff that has happened around the park

Thorpe Park(19/3/06)
At long last, Its finally back to Thorpe Park for one reason and one reason only and that was to ride Stealth, never before have I been so excited about one coaster project in the UK and I never thought the day I finally get to ride it would get here, but its definatly been worth the wait,Read My Review of the Ride, and then view Pictures of Stealth and around the park

DisneyLand Paris/Disney Stuidos(25-27th March)
This was a short weekend break to the magical land of DisneyLand Paris with a friend,It went on to be a great weekend and we managed to see/do everything in the time we had, We were also lucky to ride the new Buzz LightYear ride as it opened early for previews. Read a long report from the parks, and then view pictures from both parks

Wicksteed Park/Gullivers Land/Alton Towers(1st and 2nd April 06)
A Crazy 2 day weekend which saw me take in 3 parks including 2 parks I had never been to before(Wicksteed Park and Gullivers Land in Matlock Bath) and my first trip to Alton Towers this year to take in the New Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Ride,It was an excellent weekend, and I had a lot of fun. You can View Pictures from all 3 Parks, Plus Brief Reviews of Wicksteed and Gullivers, and a Review of Charlie at Alton

France ECC Trip(29th April-1st May)
Yet another trip to France as part of an ECC weekend which took in Foire De Trone,Parc Asterix,Jardin d’Acclimatation and a suprise park. I was looking forward to return to Asterix for some more Zeus action, and It would be good to try out the Foire De Trone again as well as a few new places/coasters. Read my review of the whole trip, and then see the Pictures of the whole weekend

Flamingoland(14/5/06)
I decided to take a trip upto Flamingoland early in the season to experience the new 2006 SLC Coaster called Kumali,It was an excellent coaster and it was really worth the trip and I've no dought that Flmaingoland really does have a great future ahead of it now especially if they get their rumoured woodie in 2008, View Pictures of Kumali up close, and read my brief thoughts of the ride itself

ECC American Trip(27/5/06 - 13/6/06)
This is it, The BIG ONE, this was to be a massive tour of America with the ECC taking in a very impressive 21 parks, riding 100 coasters, trying out 4 new 2006 coasters(One was closed though) and all in 2 and a half weeks of mayhem, It proved to be a mammoth and exausting trip, but totally worth every minute. View Reports from every park, plus pictures from most of them too of which there are approx 800(YIKES)

The Big Wales Weekend(29th and 30th July 06)
This would be a weekend trip to fit in 5 Parks overall, including my very first to Oakwood which of course would be the main highlight,I have wanted to visit Oakwood for years but never found the time to go,But 2006 forced me to get out there for the New Coaster "Speed" I would also be riding Megafobia for the first time ever,So What would I think of the park as a whole,And how would the other day be visiting 4 Parks in a Day.View how my whole weekend went with Reports, and Pictures at all parks

The Big Weekend(6th,7th and 8th October 06)
5 Parks Over 3 Days seems fairly easy right??Now try the situation of fitting 2 of England's Premier Fairs in that same schedule, and you suddenly have problems,This was the dilemma that faced me when I suddenly learned that 2 of England's Biggest Fairs would also be on the same weekend I was away, Thankfully after juggling around my schedule a little bit, I was able to visit all 5 parks, Plus the 2 Fairs, Certaintly it proved to be a fairly exausting trip, and an expensive one too, But It was all worth it in the end,View how my whole weekend went, and view Reports and Pictures from All Parks and Fairs

I hope to have at least one more feature before the end of the year is out SO WATCH THIS SPACE
