Finally I made it to Thorpe better late than never, time for some pics of Colossus in Action
The train enters the cobra roll, I must say this is where it feels really bad and rough out of any other section

So heres the Train entering the Dark Section at the start, the smoke was on overkill today which meant the effect going through it was great

Has anyone noticed how hard it is to get good shots of the Flying Fish, these few shots are probably the best anyone can manage
the train tears down the long section just after the start to the ride
And heres the train about to enter the last helix, incidently the ride seems to be a getting a bit worse all the time, it felt ever so bumpy today
Vortex was on fine form today
They were also spinning the ride first of all before they started the actual ride experience meaning that the usual trick to getting the GOOD seat was virtually impossible and pure luck
The Thorpe Belle looks nice after its new paint job earlier this year
ahhhh, the very bad Ribena Rapids, didnt ride it as usual as I just hate this ride now, Thorpe have just complety ruined it, Please do us a favour and bring back the good old days of Thunder River
Detonator about to take the plunge, the ride also had a small brakedown at 4.30PM when I think it got stuck at the top, It was soon back up though.
Eclipse was working today but the operating procedures seemed worse today with lots more cars not filled than normal, and yet there was a fairly long queue, can never understand why they dont fill them up more personally
In other park news, here is the other Colossus train sitting outside the transfer shed, havent got a clue whats wrong with it or why its even there, but I hope its back in operation soon
You know it amazes me how people get away with standing up on the rapids, I hope the staff caught this on camera and gave these 2 girls a good telling off cause this is extremly dangerous, Prehaps I should send this to Thorpe shameing the 2 girls
Now come on Thorpe,dont you think this is a bit lazy to not update your advertising, It wouldnt take you that long to do and this will only confuse guests who think they can still buy a ticket for £15
Proof that Thorpe have not decided to replace the broken window in the Colossus shop as of 28/9/03, Prehaps it will be done in the off season ready for next year??
Looks like the Thorpe Belle was closed off today for a Private Function for Microsoft although I never saw anything happening when I was there although it could have been in the morning. Wonder what they were doing there??????
