They have a ChairSwing Ride here
Which looks really impressive, looked to be on a good programme, and looked all colourful with all its lights on
Chairswing Goodness
A View of the Chairswing From the Train Ride
The Chairswing in Flight upclose
And One Shot faw away this time from the Big Wheel
The New RollerCoaster Entrance which looked very grand I must say, queues were 20 mins when I arrived at Metroland, but was nearly walk on a few hrs later the longer I stayed
Some Themeing
Cool Fish Themeing, Its nice to inject a bit of colour around the Place
There was a Waltzer Ride up there, But I dont ride them anymore
I'm guessing there used to be a ride underneath this helix part of the Coaster, but I cant work out what,Maybe some type of Spinning Ride probably
No Park would be complete without a Pirate Ship
This one was OK, but nothing special, Its didnt particually go very high, and this picture probably shows it at its max height,Its fitted nicely next to the Rock Face behind it though
The Big Wheel
It gave out some nice views of the whole place thanks to its location, but the ride op was a bit stingy and only gave 2-3 laps round despite being quiet
I think they called this The Fabulous Train, It took you around the amusement park and was a nice little ride
Westlers Sponsors Metroland(But not anymore of course) Also look at the Ceiling? There is clearly some track of some kind, this actually went around nearly the whole place suggesting this used to be a ride of some kind, but again I wouldnt have a clue what, Prehaps it was a suspended Monorail Ride that would give you birdeye views of the whole place??
A Big Kiddie Play Area, I thought about sneaking in as you would have been able to get some good pictures of the RollerCoaster from the back of it when the train was in the final section of bunny hills, but it looked to be stricly kids only, so didnt bother
The Greatest Indoor Amusement Park in the UK(Well it was,SOB)
We Hope you have enjoyed your Visit to Metroland,I know I had a lot of fun here, so I'm sure going to miss this place, Thank you Metroland and GoodNight
