Legoland 2008 Season

Welcome to Mole in One, the New Mini Golf Course

My Friend will like this as rather likes Ducks

These next 2 Pictures are for you my Friend(You know who you are)

Cool Lego Themeing Ducks

So now follows some views of the new Mini Golf Course, they are still advertising it as new for 2008,probably because it was'nt open for long last season I guess,Also its great value for money if youre season pass holders as you can get Buy One Get One Free,So only £1.50 a go,Bargain

I didnt think The Course was that easy, there are 18 holes, and some were really hard and a little challeging

All of the holes were quite short which is fine because it doesnt take that long to complete the whole course

This Hole was Hard, thats an uphill slope there so hit it too soft, and it will come rolling back down everytime, took me 3 attempts to get it over to the hole

View Some more photos of the Course until I return in a little while

The Jungle Coaster used to have cool cars on the ride just like in this picture

But now they have changed to this design, WTF

Why such a bizarre change, Well apparently due to noise levels and complaints from local residents, Legoland were forced to enclose the cars to cut out noise

Apparently its a serious situation, If this doesnt improve things, then Legoland may be forced to remove the ride from the 2009 season

It would be a shame if they had to resort to this tactic because Legoland does have good relations with its residents. The thing I cant work out is, The ride has already been here for 4 years so why onlynow have the residents complained???

Its a really bizarre ride now because it doesnt feel like a coaster, No Wind in your face or nothing like that, just feels like you're driving a car quite fast

The Changes have hit Loading times dramiticlly, the cars are now heavier which means no more than 2 adults are allowed in a car

So expect to queue quite a while for this ride even if you come on a very quiet day, I waited about 50-55 mins when usually from the point I queued up from, it would generally take about 30 mins so beware

In other Legoland News, they have put up these waiting times boards around the park to try and plan your day better, One is here by The Johnny Thunder Lake, and another One is up by the entrance Plaza near the Dinosaur

Johnny Thunder Returns in a brand new show for 2008, Revenge of the Aztec Queen

Unfortnutly we saw the version where the actors didnt dive into the water because of the cold conditions so it was a slighty altered and shorter version that usual but the new show was good, and I will want to come back soon to see the proper full show

The Magic Theatre has done a Vanishing Act and is NO MORE

The Place will soon be home to a new XBox 360 Games Zone, which will be ready very soon
