Hayling Island Pics Page 1

It seems that all the trouble that Hayling Island had with getting the Trocerdero Drop Ride is now at an end as they are advertising the ride for the 2004 season, Its a shame we will have to wait a bit longer to ride it, but at least its finally coming.

This is one main reason why I came back to the park this year, to ride this mini afterburner like Vortex at Thorpe

The Ride continues its testing for the morning

Tornado waits to greet its oncoming riders

I must admit, I found the ride to be excellent, I was very impressed with the speed of the ride and the spinning techniques, Its a worthy addidion to Hayling Island

The Ride also goes quite high and again I was impressed with that, The Ride also seemed to be a big hit with everyone else too which was good to see. Also noticed that the restraints are not locked automaticlly, The ride op comes round and pushes them down himself

A shot of the Breakdance Ride which was open today unlike last time when I came here as it was closed for maintenance. It was quite a good ride if not a little slow

There is a little water squirter at the bottom of the drop on the log ride now although luckly it doesnt actually seem to reach into the boats so its unlikely to get you get

Apparently on the Big Coaster here, No Single Riders are allowed, You can ride it with other people of course if you are on your own, but you are not allowed in a car on your own. An Odd Rule indeed.
